Are you studying Controlling Financial Management or a similar field of Business Administration and are you looking for a student assistant job where you can apply your skills and knowledge in a global design company? 

Georg Jensen is looking for a Student Assistant for Group Business Controlling team located at our beautiful HQ in Frederiksberg. You will work with a broad range of tasks within controlling and reporting. The hours will be approx. 15 hours a week. You will be part of a team of 5 dedicated employees, and you will report directly to the Head of Business Controlling.

The role

The position is a part time student position with the opportunity to get familiar with all kinds of business areas within controlling and reporting. Preferably you can work 1-2 full days a week, but we are flexible, also when it comes to your exam periods.

The criteria for success in this position is a will to “get-the-job-done” and not being afraid to speak up when a solution comes to mind, and tasks can be done more time efficient or with a better result. 

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Month-end closure preparation 
  • Cost controlling and follow up
  • Prepare and assist in the Budget and estimate process  
  • Help optimize reports and processes  
  • Ad hoc tasks within the area of business controlling

The ideal candidate has the following competences: 

  • Hands-on type of person 
  • Self-driven and structured
  • Solution-oriented
  • Strong numerical skills and an analytical mind-set 
  • Strong team player with a service minded attitude 
  • Fluent in English and Danish
  • Skilled MS Office user, especially Excel

We imagine that you are in the middle of the bachelor or equivalent. You are willing to learn, reliable and comfortable with more than one task at a time.
